Then we went to room 9,they were talking about their Mihi’s and their wharenui, flax and at the end of their cultural speech they sang a beautiful song to us,we also sang with them to.

After room 9 we went to room 10,they were doing a welcoming song for us to come in their class room, then they did a lively Maori dance and telling us some interesting facts about the amazing Auckland Museum wharenui.

After that we went down to the Juniors. First we went to room 1,they were talking about the hard knuckle bones that are made with stones.Room 1 told us that we have to get split up in 3 groups of activites, one activity was knuckle bones and the other were the string activites and the last one was the colourful presentation(the slide show).

Later on we went to room 2,they were showing us how to do and make the rainbow coloured poi and they showed us the video clip of room 2 playing with it and doing the haka .

Finally we went to room4,they were talking about flax ,they got the flax from Mrs Cooper. They showed us a video about facts of the green harakeke(flax).
