Water Fun Day 1013

Celebrating summer in a cool breezy water is the best thing ever in 2013.

First we got in our house group green, yellow, blue and red

Then we went to our house places
red:in front of room 4
yellow:in front of room 6
green:in front of room 1
blue:in front of the hall.

After that we marched and marched go green!!! green is going to win!!!shouting and screaming to other house colours.then we sat down,to jump in and get started.

First green house started with under leg with mrs Rudduck and mrs Atuahiva,it was fun because Vili was squrting us with the hose.

After that we went to mrs george and we had to walk on the beanch to a bucket water with a half milk bottle,it was funny because some people ketp on sliping on the beam.

later on we went to Mr Nath and Mrs Greenham they did the cup dipped in the bucket of water.

Couple of minutes later we moved on the Mrs Pomee and Mrs Moopana they did the zig zag, everyone was all ways laugh because when they hold the cup and go zig zag they all ways drop it and slip and the same time.

The last mission to do was the slide with Mrs Pau’uvale and Mrs Holdeness.we had to hold a cup and slide on the slide down to the bottom of the feild and pour it in our colour bin.

My Story About the Pools

Ahhhhh!!! On a sunny day me and my best friend Katalina went to the pool’s because it was so hot, like we were burning up in to pieces. Once we got everything organised we started to walk to the pools. When we got there we were like ‘WOW” water was splashing everywhere..

When we got back from the pools we went to Sylvia Park to watch 'Brave', it was funny because when they turned into bears they looked cute but when they turned back into humans they were running around naked. When the movie was finished we went back home and went for a shower, then got dressed to go to bed. ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

How The Kiwi Lost Its Wing Retold by Oshyne

In the ancient days,Tanemahuta went for a walk through the forest with his children. He took a look at his children and saw  that they were getting sick  because the disgusting bugs were eating them.

He called his brother,Tanehokahoka and told him about his children. Then Tanehokahoka called a meeting with the birds and he asked them for help. He wanted them to stay on the forest floor and look after Tanemahuta’s children.

The Tui refused because the forest floor was too dark. The Pukeko did not want to get his feet wet since the forest floor was cold and wet. Pipiwharauroa was busy building his nest so he could not come down. The Kiwi agreed to live on the forest floor and look after Tanemahuta’s children.

Tanehokahoka was happy because the Kiwi had agreed. He told the Kiwi that he would have to lose his beautiful feathers and grow strong legs so that he can tear logs to look for his food.Tanemahuta also blessed the Kiwi and said that he would be the most well known and loved bird of all.

The other birds were punished by Tanemahuta. The Tui had to wear two white feathers at his throat to mark him as a coward. The Pukeko was sent to live in the swamp for ever and Pipiwharauroa never built a nest.

Tanemahuta’s children lived on the forest floor in the care of the kind Kiwi.
